What is home exchange?

"Home exchange", also known as "house swapping" is a mutual exchange of homes or holiday homes, usually at the same time, for an agreed period. In other words, Homeowner A would live in Home B while Homeowner B lives in Home A.

Home exchange is an increasingly popular worldwide trend. It allows both parties involved to have no-cost accommodations making travel much more affordable. Your exchange partner may live across the country or across the world. Your homes may be similar in size and type or completely different - all that matters is that you are both content with the agreed upon exchange arrangements. Each exchange is unique and a relationship of trust should develop as you get to know your exchange partners through e-mail, phone calls, fax, or letter correspondence.

LDS HomeXchange was created to facilitate home and hospitality exchanges for the 12+ million Latter-day Saint members worldwide who share the same values and standards.
